The prestigious accolade was presented by the former Union Minister of State for Labour, Parliamentary Affairs, Youth Affairs & Sports, Vijay Goel, and an appreciation certificate was handed over by Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the former governor of Maharashtra. The Award committee, comprising well-known personalities in the travel and hospitality industry, nominated Raja Gopaal Iyer in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the Hospitality & Tourism Industry spanning more than three decades.
