Kerala Tourism Development Association Presents Budget Proposals to Finance Minister; Strong Support Pledged for Industry.

The Kerala Tourism Development Association submitted a comprehensive proposal addressing the challenges faced by the tourism sector for inclusion in the upcoming State Budget to Sri K. N. Balagopal, the Hon’ble Minister for Finance. The minister has committed robust support for the industry and expressed a genuine willingness to meticulously review the suggestions provided. In Thiruvananthapuram, a seminar was organized to gather insights from trade leaders on the travel and tourism sector. After incorporating the valuable suggestions received during the deliberations, KTDA General Secretary, Kottukal Krishnakumar, and Treasurer, Siji Nair, personally met with the minister to present the refined and detailed proposal. The Minister has assured that the sector will receive full support, and the upcoming budget will include measures to uplift the tourism industry.
